Bunch of saffron (girl)

Bunch saffron, which is also known as “Dashter Pich” or “Dasteh”, is the most complete and natural type of saffron, which consists of three main parts: red (stigma), yellow (cream) and white (root). This type of saffron is also called “mother of saffrons” because other types of saffron such as Nagin and Sargol are separated from it. The origin of the name “Dokhtar Pich” goes back to the ancient Iranian tradition that after harvesting the flowers, women would bundle the saffron strings and tie them with white thread. With more than 3 thousand years of history, Iran is the largest producer of saffron in the world (more than 90 percent), and Razavi and South Khorasan province, especially Torbat Heydarieh and Qaenat, is the main hub of this traditional type of production. Among the advantages of bunch saffron, we can mention the very low possibility of fraud (due to maintaining the natural structure of the flower), affordable price, and having all the properties of different parts of saffron. The 4.6 gram envelope packaging (equivalent to one shekel) is suitable for daily household use, preparation of various traditional foods such as techin and barberry, hot drinks, and also as an economical and authentic option for gifts.
